Looking for aliens in Svalbard as part of my arcticcircle.org residency. I sent signals out into the stratosphere, mirroring the curtain of the Aurora with my own laser pulses--pulsing out the patterns of heartbeats from people all around the world. This attempt at communication with that which is out there only made a deeper connection between us who are already here, highlighting the fact that we are the aliens in this environment.
